The 2019 NBA rookies gathered in New Jersey last week for the rookie photo shoot and the trio of Duke Basketball players were recognized by their peers in the annual rookie survey.
Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, and Cam Reddish were all gathered in Madison, New Jersey last week for the 2019 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot along with the annual rookie surveys.
On Monday afternoon, the results of those surveys were made public and to the surprise of no one, the trio of former Blue Devils were heavily recognized by their peers.

The No. 1 overall pick in the draft, Zion Williamson, received 35% of the vote to be the 2019-20 NBA Kia Rookie of the Year.
No. 2 pick Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies came in second place receiving 27% of the vote while RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish were tied for third with 5% of the vote.
Cam Reddish was voted as the player to have the best career, accumulating 19% of the vote as he also edged out Morant who brought in 16% of the vote.
Williamson and Barrett were tied for fourth with Jaxson Hayes and Coby White with 5% of the vote.
Former Blue Devil Wendell Carter Jr. was voted at the top of the 2018 rookies last season to have the best career.
Zion Williamson ran away with the most athletic vote, taking 87% of the vote with Memphis’ Brandon Clarke getting 8% of the vote.
All three of the Duke rookies will soon get to officially step on the court as NBA players as teams will be reporting to training camp soon followed by the preseason, but Williamson will get the season started in Toronto as his New Orleans Pelicans will take on the defending champion Raptors on Opening Night.
Williamson takes the floor on Tuesday, October 22 while RJ Barrett and the New York Knicks will have to wait one more night to face the San Antonio Spurs on October 23.
Cam Reddish and the Atlanta Hawks will open its season on Thursday, October 24 in Detroit to face the Pistons.
