Walker Kessler, a major Class of 2020 Duke Basketball target, booked four official visits starting at the end of August.

As the 2019-20 college basketball season draws closer, the recruiting visits and battles heat up and that’s no different with four-star 2020 center Walker Kessler.

The 6-foot-10 Georgia native has booked four official visits starting at the end of August after he already visited Auburn earlier this summer.

More from Ball Durham

Jake Weingarten of Stock Risers reported that Kessler will visit Michigan on August 31 and then headed to Durham to visit Duke on September 6.

Worried that Kessler won’t see Cameron Indoor Stadium live in game action?

Don’t be concerted as this will not be the first time Walker Kessler will be in Cameron, he was in attendance for the Blue Devils’ drumming of St. John’s last season.

It was also reported that Kessler will visit North Carolina on September 20 and lastly head across the country to get a look at Gonzaga on October 4.

Walker Kessler could be one of two major big men that the Blue Devils land in the Class of 2020 as Duke are the favorites, according to 247 Sports, to land both Kessler and four-star center Mark Williams.

Mike Krzyzewski already has landed commitments from Jalen Johnson and Jeremy Roach in the Class of 2020, but is still trying to reel in Ziaire Williams, D.J. Steward, and Henry Coleman, in addition to Kessler and Williams.

247 Sports ranks Kessler as the No. 16 player in the Class of 2020, the No. 3 center, and the No. 1 player out of Georgia.

Kessler is behind No. 1 overall recruit and Southern California commit Evan Mobley and No. 5 uncommitted Makur Maker at the center position.

The Woodward Academy star would be Duke’s third five-star commit as Johnson and Roach are also listed as five-star recruits, according to the site.

Duke has a knack for landing five-star big men recently and with Kessler as the top uncommitted center that the Blue Devils are pursuing, expect Coach K to roll out the “Blue Carpet” for the Georgia product.
