Jack White wins Bronze Medal for Australia at World University Games
The Duke Basketball captain and Australian Basketball star won the Bronze Medal at the World University Games after getting revenge over Team Israel.
After a disappointing two point loss in the semifinals against the Ukraine, Australia utilized its off day wisely and were able to regroup and take down Team Israel in the Bronze Medal match at the World University Games.
In the final game, Jack White just narrowly missed a double-double finishing the game with 11 points and nine rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting, 1-of-2 coming from beyond the 3-point line as Australia got its revenge, beating Israel 86-69.

Israel defeated Australia 92-64 in the first game of group play at the World University Games with both teams losing by two points in its respective semifinal game.
Australia played in six games at the World University Games and the Blue Devil averaged 10.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 62.1% from the field (23/37) , 50.0% from 3-point range (4/8), and 57.9% from the free throw line (11/19).
The best game of the tournament for White came in a victory over Argentina in the quarterfinals when he scored 19 points and grabbed four rebounds on 7-of-8 shooting.
Jack White is coming off a career best season as a Blue Devil where played in 35 games, averaging 4.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 20.5 minutes per game.
White is entering his senior season at Duke and will be a two-time captain along side of roommate Javin DeLaurier.
The Traralgon, Australia native is a two time ACC Tournament Champion and has made two appearances in the Elite Eight and looking to help bring Duke its first National Championship since 2015.
As Jack White will return to the United States and join his Duke teammates in their offseason workout program, the Blue Devils know what awaits them to begin the season with the release of the 2019-20 non-conference schedule earlier on Thursday afternoon.
