The former Duke Basketball star, Marques Bolden, return to the court after missing some time due to an injury in the opening games of the SLC Summer League.

Marques Bolden was back on the court and in the starting lineup as the Cleveland Cavaliers took the floor against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Las Vegas at the NBA’s premier Summer League.

The Cavaliers took part in three games in the SLC Summer League in Utah at the beginning of the week and in his first ever professional game, Bolden put on a show, as he posted 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks in 22 minutes of action against the San Antonio Spurs.

The following night against the Memphis Grizzlies, Bolden started but only logged eight minutes and was able to grab two rebounds due to knee soreness.

The DeSoto, Texas native then did not play against the Utah Jazz in the third and final game due to the knee issue.

The bothersome knee looked fine on Friday afternoon as the former Blue Devil was back on the floor with his Cavaliers teammates, tipping off their first game in the Las Vegas Summer League.

Bolden stuffed the stat sheet once again, finishing with six points, four rebounds, three blocks, and one steal, but struggled from the field, only making  1-of-5 attempts, but he made all four of his free throws.

In the first of four guaranteed games in Las Vegas, Bolden was on the floor for 16 minutes and finished with a +/- rating of +2 despite the Cavaliers blowing a double-digit second half lead to fall to the Timberwolves 85-75.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are scheduled to be back on the floor at The Thomas and Mack Center on Sunday, July 7, at 7:30pm EST against the Chicago Bulls and that game can be seen on ESPN.
