Jimmy Butler honored the mother of Tre and Tyus Jones last night with his bright pink shoes as the Duke Basketball mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in March.

Jimmy Butler emerged from the Philadelphia 76ers locker room before Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the 76ers and the Toronto Raptors with bright pink shoes.

As Butler was going through his pregame warmups, photographers got a more-focused look at his shoes and noticed the writing on the bottoms of the shoes, honoring Debbie Jones, the mother of Tre and Tyus Jones, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

After the game, Butler took to Twitter and Instagram to display his shoes and a message for Debbie Jones.

Tyus Jones took to Twitter to show his appreciation for Butler’s kind act as well as responding to his posts on social media.

Tre Jones also took to various social media forms to show his gratitude Jimmy Butler honoring his mother with many re-tweets and also one response to Sports Illustrated highlighting Butler’s shoes.

Tyus Jones and Jimmy Butler began their relationship when Butler was still a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves and their relationship came to the forefront at the beginning of this season when Butler was going through his trade demands and requests.

Butler got a private plane for him and Tyus to fly from Los Angeles to go see Duke’s first game of the season in Indianapolis, but after something came up and Butler was unable to attend, he still allowed Jones to use the plane to see his brother’s first collegiate game.

The Jones brothers were not the only Duke players to share Butler’s message for their mother, R.J. Barrett also shared a photo on his Instagram story of Jimmy Butler’s shoes.

I believe I can speak for the entire Duke Basketball fanbase and community when I say this, but everyone is with Debbie Jones as she fights to overcome breast cancer.
