The former Duke Football wide receiver, T.J. Rahming, has signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent.

The second Duke Football player has inked a deal as an undrafted free agent as wide receiver T.J. Rahming signed with the Washington Redskins.

Rahming was a four year player at Duke and posted his best season in Durham in his senior and final season, but was a steady force in the Blue Devil offense since he was a freshman.

In his first season, Rahming played in ten games, accumulating 43 receptions for 571 yards and two touchdowns.

Finding the end zone was never Rahming’s strong suit in his first three season’s at Duke as after getting to pay dirt twice in his first season, he only scored once in his sophomore season after reeling in 70 passes for 742 yards in 11 games.

The Powder Springs, Georgia native was back in the end zone twice in his junior year where he registered 65 receptions for 795 yards in a full 13 game season.

The script was flipped as a senior when all Rahming could was score touchdowns.

In his final season, he caught a career high 75 passes for a career high 811 yards and added to his career season with eight touchdowns. Rahming also had nine rushing attempts for 82 yards in his final season.

T.J. Rahming’s best game as a Blue Devil by far game in the last time he would dawn the Duke blue and white in the Walk On’s Independence Bowl. Rahming caught 12 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns.

The Washington Redskins made it a priority to try and fix its offense in this draft and they did by selecting Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins in the First Round with the No. 15 overall pick.

Coming into the draft the wide receiver was a position of need for the Redskins and they selected two receivers in the draft in the Third Round with Terry McLaurin from Ohio State and in the
sixth round with Kelvin Harmon from North Carolina State.

T.J. Rahming joins Joe Giles-Harris as Duke players that have signed as undrafted free agents with Daniel Jones being the only Blue Devil selected in the NFL Draft.
