ESPN has unveiled its final player rankings for the Class of 2019 and several incoming Duke Basketball players were included in the upper half of the list.

The Duke Blue Devils will once again have the No. 1 recruiting class headed into next season, but how do the players stack up with the rest of the incoming talent around the country?

With the showcases and All-Stars games in the rearview mirror, ESPN has released its final players rankings for the Class of 2019, with Duke grabbing five of the Top-100 prospects.

More from Ball Durham

While no recruiting class, maybe in the history of college basketball, will compare to what Duke just had with R.J. Barrett, Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, Tre Jones, and Joey Baker, these future Blue Devils will be working towards that ultimate goal of brining a sixth National Championship back to Durham.

Leading the way for the Blue Devils is Vernon Carey Jr., who is ranked No. 5 by ESPN and is the third ranked center, behind the No. 1 overall player, James Wiseman who will be attending Memphis, and the No. 3 player, Isaiah Stewart who has committed to Washington.

Matthew Hurt, who just committed to Duke last Friday, is ranked at No. 10 on ESPN and the second power forward behind Jaden McDaniels, who is still uncommitted.

Wendell Moore is the next Blue Devil that ESPN ranked as the North Carolina native comes in at No. 21.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native is the No. 3 small forward behind two New Jersey natives in Florida’s Scottie Lewis and Kentucky’s Kahlil Whitney.

The most recent Blue Devils commit, Cassius Stanley, is ranked as the No. 29 player by ESPN and the No. 6 shooting guard in the class.

Lastly, Rejean “Boogie” Ellis rounds out the Blue Devils batch on incoming freshmen as the No. 36 player and right behind his soon to be teammate, Ellis is the No. 7 shooting guard

These Blue Devils will be in Durham sooner rather than later as the group will band together with those who will be returning to Duke.
