The former Duke Football star quarterback Daniel Jones has been rising up NFL Draft boards, but there is one team in need of a quarterback that would be the worst place for Jones to land.

Many NFL fans want their favorite team to stay away from Daniel Jones because they don’t think he can adjust to the NFL game and don’t trust a Duke quarterback because Duke isn’t considered as a football school.

However, there should be one team that Jones should not want to be drafted by and that is the Washington Redskins.

There’s something about the Redskins that just gives you an uneasy feeling in your stomach. From he owner Dan Schneider down to the head coach Jay Gruden. Washington wouldn’t be the ideal place for Jones to grow and develop as a starting quarterback in the NFL that many know he can be.

You don’t have to look back that far to see how bad the Redskins are at developing young quarterbacks.

Going back to 2012 when Washington selected Robert Griffin III with the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft, RG3 led the Redskins to the playoffs in his first season, but after the team was negligent to sit and rest him after suffering a knee injury, Griffin III hasn’t been the same since that season.

The Redskins then transitioned to Kirk Cousins who is now the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings, and despite receiving what was then the largest contract in NFL history, Cousins has still yet to perform when the lights are the brightest.

Washington has endured failed experiments in Colt McCoy and Mark Sanchez during that time period and although the Redskins how have Alex Smith and Case Keenum on its roster, Smith is a trustworthy veteran that many never play football again due to a gruesome injury suffered last season and Keenum is a seasoned veteran that is not a franchise worthy quarterback as his last season in Denver showed.

Washington is in the market for a young and potential quarterback and they are looking at potentially taking one with the No. 15 overall pick in next Thursday’s First Round of the NFL Draft, and for the potential of his career, hopefully they do not take Daniel Jones.
