Two of the Duke Basketball star freshmen both indicated their future plans on Sunday night in different ways and gave different indications.

It all started once again around 9:30pm ET on Sunday, April 7.

First, with yet another Instagram post with his Duke jersey in the background with the March Madness logo on the wall, Tre Jones gave Blue Devil fans another reason to believe that he will be returning to Durham for his sophomore season.

Jones also posted last night in the middle of the second half in the Final Four game between Texas Tech and Michigan State, the game Duke would have been playing in had they defeated the Spartans in the Elite 8.

On Saturday night, Jones captioned the post “Year 2?” as many former, current, and future Blue Devils commented on the post, including his brother and ‘one-and-done’ Tyus Jones, telling his brother to “write his own story”.

While the post on Sunday night looks much more ominous than the one on Saturday did, there is still reasons for major optimism to believe Jones will be in a Duke uniform next season.

In 36 games, Jones averaged 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per game.

However, one of Jones’ closest friends on the team, Cam Reddish, all but revealed his decision as ESPN’s Laker reporter, Dave McMenamin, tweeted that Reddish was sitting court-side with agent Rich Paul at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Utah Jazz game on Sunday night.

Reddish is a projected Top-10 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft in June.

Rich Paul is the agent of Klutch Sports and has some of the biggest names in the NBA, including LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Cam Reddish was also able to play in 36 games, while averaging 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

No official announcements have been made by any of the four Duke freshman yet, including the potential Top-2 picks, Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett.

I’d assume that once the National Championship game is over on April 8, there will be official announcements coming from the players and team regarding each of their futures.
