The Duke Basketball team is looking to back to back wins and back to back road wins on Tuesday night without Zion Williamson.

After a major shake up in the starting lineup in the win against Syracuse, Mike Krzyzewski rolled the same five out there to start the game against Virginia Tech.

It was Tre Jones, Alex O’Connell, Cam Reddish, R.J. Barrett, and Javin DeLaurier on the court for the opening tipoff.

The Blue Devils were led by 12 points from Cam Reddish as well as two rebounds as the Blue Devils trail Virginia Tech at halftime, 37-34.

However, it was Tre Jones that got the scoring started for the Blue Devils with Duke’s first five points, but Jones finished the first half with just those five points, in addition to two rebounds, four assists, but an uncharacteristic three turnovers.

R.J. Barrett only finished the first half with four points, going one of seven from the field, and missing all five shots from 3-point range. Barrett did have two rebounds and three assists.

After a benching against Syracuse on Saturday, Jack White provided some good minutes in the first half with four points and four rebounds, but took a hit to the chest and stomach area but he did return for the final minute of the first half. .

Once again Joey Baker made a brief appearance in the first half, missing the only shot he attempted.

Duke is going to need production out of R.J. Barrett in the second half and a more concentrated effort on the defensive end of the ball, running the Hokies off of the 3-point line and trying to contain Kerry Blackshear Jr. in the paint.
