The Blue Devils got off to a bit of a slow start in the first four minutes, but after the first media timeout, Duke turned up the intensity offensively and defensively on NC State, taking a 48 -40 lead into halftime.

Duke was led by Zion Williamson with 19 points , five rebounds, and a steal, while R.J. Barrett has 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Cam Reddish finished the first half with six points, highlighted by a four point play in the opening minutes. Reddish also had five rebounds and two assists in the first 20 minutes.

Tre Jones was very efficient on the offensive end, closing the half with seven points on three of five shooting and making one of his two attempts from 3-point range.

Marques Bolden finished the first half with two points, but Javin DeLaurier played an excellent first half coming off the bench.

Despite not scoring, DeLaurier was able to pull in six rebounds, three blocks, and an assist, while only picking up one foul.

As a team, Duke was very good from the free throw line which has been a problem at times this season, making 14-of-16 attempts in the first half.

In the second half, Duke must continue to keep the defensive pressure up on NC State, as the Blue Devils made two Wolfpack players pick up two fouls.
