The Duke Basketball team kept the North Carolina State Wolfpack at a distance behind a triple double from R.J. Barrett.
The Duke Blue Devils were able to hold off the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Saturday night with many former players attendance, along with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather.
Duke was led by R.J. Barrett who notched his first triple double of his Duke career and the first triple double in Duke history since 2006 when Shelden Williams notched 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocks against Maryland.

Barrett is also the first Duke freshman to have a triple double since Gene Banks in 1987 with a 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists against Lehigh.
R.J. finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, but perhaps more impressively, zero turnovers in Duke’s 94-78 victory.
After the game it was reported that Barrett was dealing with an illness during the week, but was still able to perform tonight at a very high level, with his high school coach, Kevin Boyle, of Montverde Academy at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The win also made Mike Krzyzewski the all-time winningest coach in college basketball history in any division with 1,123 wins
Duke was also helped by the stellar performance of Zion Williamson who scored 32 points, along with six rebounds, three steals, and an assist.
Tre Jones was very efficient as always, scoring 13 points on six of nine shooting and also adding five assists, three rebounds, and two steals.
Cam Reddish struggled with his shots, finishing with just nine points on two of fifteen shooting and one of seven from three, but he did add seven rebounds and four assists on the night.
While it won’t show up in the box score, the Blue Devils got great performances out of Marques Bolden and Javin DeLaurier tonight.
Bolden put up nine points, eight rebounds, four steals, and three blocks, while DeLaurier did not score, but had six rebounds, three blocks, and an assist.
As a team, Duke struggled from 3-point range once again, only making three of its sixteen attempts.
The win moved Duke to 23-2 on the season and 11-1 in the ACC while NC State dropped to 18-8 overall and 6-7 in the ACC.
The Wolfpack will host the Boston College Eagles on Wednesday night, while the nation turns its attention to Durham on Wednesday as the Blue Devils welcome in the North Carolina Tar Heels.
