The Blue Devils got off to a quick 4-0 start, but Boston College would respond, taking a 8-4 lead but Duke would respond.
Duke took a 12-8 lead into the first media timeout and after threatening to pull away mid-way in the first half, Boston College would fight back into the game, taking a 30-28 lead into halftime.
The Blue Devils were led by Zion Williamson, who posted nine points, 10 rebounds, an assist, and three steals.
The 3-point struggles haunted Duke once again in the first half, shooting one of fifteen from beyond the arc.
R.J. Barrett finished the first half with four points and three rebounds and struggled from the floor, only making one of his six shots.
Barrett wasn’t the only Blue Devils to struggled from the floor, Cam Reddish made four of his ten attempts, one of six from 3-point range, Tre Jones made two of his eight attempts, and Marques Bolden even struggled making one of his three shots.
As a team Duke only made twelve of thirty shots, which is a major reason why the Eagles are in the lead at halftime.
In the second half, expect the Blue Devils to go on one of its signature runs, using its defense to help the offense and eventually pull Boston College.
