The Duke Basketball team rolled St. John’s in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday afternoon to extend its non-conference home winning streak.

From the final four minutes of the first half until the final buzzer, it was all Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon.

St. John’s came out and matched the Blue Devils shot for shot early in the game, but Duke would flex its muscles and roll over St. John’s, 91-61.

The entire starting five of the Blue Devils were in double figures led by the human highlight reel in Zion Williamson with 29 points, six rebounds, five steals, and two blocks on the night.

However, the more impressive game may have been from Tre Jones who held Shamorie Ponds, St. John’s leading scorer to no points in the first half and only 11 points in the entire game with five turnovers.

R.J. Barrett didn’t have his 3-point shot falling, missing all five of his attempts, but he did finish with 15 points and 14 rebounds to go along with four assists, two steals, and a block.

Cam Reddish was hot early from 3-point range, but cooled down in the second half, finishing four of ten for 13 points with threw rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Marques Bolden once again showed his improvement this season, finishing with 10 points, six rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block, while his fellow big man Javin DeLaurier also had a very good game with five points and five rebonds against the Johnnies.

The win moved the Blue Devils to 19-2 on the season and kept Duke at 7-1 in the ACC while St. John’s dropped to 16-6 and remained 4-5 in the Big East.

The road does not get easier for St. John’s as the Red Storm travel to Marquette to face the Golden Eagles on Tuesday while the Blue Devils will welcome in Boston College to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday night before the Saturday showdown in Charlottesville against Virginia.
