The sensational Duke Basketball freshman, Zion Williamson, has been named as the ACC Freshman of the Week.
There isn’t much Zion Williamson cannot due on the basketball court, and he was recognized by the ACC for his achievements on the hardwood this week as he was named as the ACC Freshman of the Week.
Williamson and the Duke Blue Devils had not been on the court since a victory over then No. 12 Texas Tech on December 20 but on Saturday night against the Clemson Tigers, Williamson made it known that Duke Basketball was back in emphatic fashion.

In Duke’s 87-68 victory over Clemson, Zion had 25 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. He made nine his eleven field goal attempts, made six of nine shots from the free throw line, and made one of his three attempts from 3-point range.
However, Williamson almost brought Cameron Indoor Stadium with a 360 dunk after a steal against Clemson.
The slam sent a blaze to social media and blew the minds of everyone that an 18 year old could pull this off in the middle of the game.
On the season Williamson averages 20.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.9 blocks per game, while shooting 66.4% from the field.
Those numbers put Zion Williamson at third in the ACC in scoring with his 20.2 points per game and third in rebounding with 9.5 rebounds per game, and second in field goal percentage at 66.4%.
Zion Williamson and the Duke Blue Devils currently sit as the No. 1 team in the country in the latest release of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
With a 12-1 overall record and a 1-0 record in the ACC, the Blue Devils will travel to Wake Forest on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN before heading south to Tallahassee to face the No. 13 Florida State Seminoles on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm ET on ESPN.
