Duke Basketball: Tip off time set for Blue Devils and Clemson Tigers
A game time has been set for when the Duke Basketball team will face the Clemson Tigers on January 5, 2019.
It has been a while since the last time the Duke Basketball team has been on the floor. The Blue Devils last played on December 20 against Texas Tech in Madison Square Garden and pulled off a 69-58 victory.
While the date was known of when Duke’s next game would be, the time was unknown until last night.

On January 5, 2019 the Duke Blue Devils will welcome the Clemson Tigers into Cameron Indoor Stadium at 8:00 pm ET and can be seen on ESPN.
Pending the releases of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll at noon on Monday, December 31, 2018 the Blue Devils will enter this game against Clemson as the No. 1 team in the country, posting an 11-1 record.
Clemson enters this game with a 10-3 record and is not currently ranked in the AP Top 25. In the latest edition of the poll the Tigers did not receive any votes for consideration.
The game on January 5 will be the first game of ACC play for both Duke and Clemson and it will be the only time the two teams meet in the regular season.
The two teams will have the chance to meet again in the ACC Tournament as it returns back to Charlotte, North Carolina from March 12 through March 16.
The Blue Devils and Tigers only met once last season, as Duke came away with a 66-57 victory in the Little John Coliseum behind 19 points from senior Grayson Allen.
Duke has won three straight games against Clemson, the last time the Tigers defeated Duke was in the 2015-16 season where the Blue Devils fell 68-63 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Clemson was led in that game by Jaron Blossomgame and his 17 points while Allen dropped 17 and Brandon Ingram scored 16 for the Blue Devils.
