The former Duke Football standout has battled through injuries, but on Saturday afternoon Jamison Crowder led the Washington Redskins in receiving.

After saving the Washington Redskins season last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a miraculous catch which set up the game winning score, Jamison Crowder once again did his best to keep the Redskins season alive.

With its playoff hopes hanging in the balance and on its fourth string quarterback, Jamison Crowder knew he would have to step up on the road once again to keep the hope alive in the nation’s capital.

Crowder has developed a chemistry with quarterback Josh Johnson as the former Duke receiver saw seven targets against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday afternoon, catching five passes for 78 yards.

The Redskins fell to the Titans 25-16 which eliminated the Redskins from playoff contention.

This was Crowder’s fourth game back from returning off of his ankle injury and Colt McCoy, Mark Sanchez and Johnson have been looking for Crowder more often than Alex Smith was prior to his gruesome leg injury.

In four games with Alex Smith calling the plays for the Redskins, Crowder was targeted 19 times, catching 13 passes for 134 yards and one touchdown.

While in four games with McCoy, Sanchez, and Johnson, the Monroe, North Carolina native has been targeted 22 times, catching 15 of those targets for 247 yards and a touchdown.

Those stats combined bring Crowder’s season totals to 28 receptions for 381 yard and two touchdowns in eight games this season.

Jamison Crowder and the Washington Redskins will wrap up the 2018 season against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon, December 30, from FedEx Field at 4:25 pm ET.

The Eagles will try defend its Super Bowl Championship but first they must clinch a playoff berth with a victory over the Redskins and a loss from the Minnesota Vikings against the Chicago Bears.
