The former Duke Basketball star and current member of the Miami Heat, Justise Winslow, had a career night against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.

In what was the last regular season matchup between two NBA icons, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, Justise Winslow stole the show for the Miami Heat posting a career high in points.

Winslow finished the night with a team high 28 points along with a team high 28 minutes coming off the bench in the Heat’s 108-105 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.

The former 2015 National Champion made eleven of his twenty shot attempts, also draining six of ten 3-point shots to go along with his seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

This is the third consecutive game that Winslow topped his season high total in points, posting 20 points last Friday night in a victory against the Phoenix Suns, and then topping that with 21 points on Saturday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The last two games were back to back career highs in points for Winslow as he has never been able to top the 20 point plateau in his short NBA career.

The No. 10 overall pick by the Miami Heat in the 2015 NBA Draft is now averaging 11.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game on the season.

The Miami Heat currently hold the No. 9 spot in the Eastern Conference with a 11-15 record, but only sit a half of a game behind the instate rival Orlando Magic for the coveted No. 8 seen in the East.

Currently at 2-1 on the West Coast trip, Justise Winslow will continue the West Coast swing on Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz followed by playing the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night and lastly playing the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night before returning home to take on the Houston Rockets on December 20.
