The Yale Bulldogs are riding a hot streak after big wins over the last week, but the toughest test still awaits them in the Duke Basketball team.

There is no diminishing with the Yale Basketball team has done this season so far.

The Bulldogs started the year off in China with a win over the California Golden Bears and then retuned to the states, losing a heartbreaker in double overtime against Memphis.

Yale then lost its next game against Vermont, but have responded with three straight wins over Bryant, Miami, and Lehigh.

Clearly Yale’s most impressive victory game over ACC foe Miami as the Bulldogs 77-73 last Saturday.

Miye Oni led the way for Yale in that victory with 29 points and six rebounds, but that is nothing new for Oni as he has led the Bulldogs all season long.

The junior from Northridge, California averages 18.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, shooting 53.5% from the floor, yet only 38.7% from three point range.

Other names to keep an eye out for on Yale are Jordan Bruner, Alex Copeland, and Azar Swain.

Bruner is the leading rebounder for Yale as he averages 6.3 rebounds per game, but he also averages 13.0 points and 3.2 assists, while shooting a sizzling 60.0% from the field and a very good 40.0% from beyond the arc.

Alex Copeland also averages double figure for Yale with 11.2 points per game to go along with his 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Copeland is making 40.4% of his shots from the field, but is the Bulldogs most consistent shooter from the charity stripe, making 94.4% of his free throws.

A sophomore guard from Brockton, Massachusetts, Azar Swain, has helped chip in 10.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, and yet another consistent shooter from this Bulldog team, making 53.7% of his shots.

The No. 3 Duke Blue Devils will meet the Yale Bulldogs on Saturday evening at 5:30 pm ET from Cameron Indoor Stadium and the game can be seen on ESPN.
