ESPN projects the Duke Football Bowl Game after its regular season has come to an end on Saturday against Wake Forest.

To say it was a disappointing end to the season for the Blue Devils would be an understatement.

Duke lost to Wake Forest 59-7 at home on Senior Day to finish the season 7-5, but the Blue Devils will still receive a beth to a bowl game although it will not be as impressive of a game considering the demolition on Saturday.

ESPN’s college football experts, Kyle Bonagura and Mitch Sherman, have continued to put together projections of each bowl game after each week of the college football season and now that the regular season has come to an end for most teams, the projections are coming more into focus.

Bonagura has the Blue Devils closing out the season in a familiar place in the Quick Lane Bowl against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The Blue Devils made an appearance in the Quick Lane Bowl last season and defeated Northern Illinois 36-14.

This seasons Quick Lane Bowl is again at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on December 26 at 5:15 pm ET on ESPN.

As for Mitch Sherman, he placed the Blue Devils in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against the Purdue Boilermakers.

Duke has made one appearance at Yankee Stadium in the Pinstripe Bowl back in 2015 when the Blue Devils defeated the Indiana Hoosiers 44-41 in overtime.

The New Era Pinstripe Bowl in on December 27 at 5:15 pm ET on ESPN and clearly at Yankee Stadium from the Bronx, New York.

The Blue Devils will know their fate for sure on December 2 at 12:00 pm ET as ESPN will have their College Football Playoff Selection Show which will follow into the announcement of the rest of the 2018 Bowl Games.

Just as a heads up, in the 2018 Duke Football Season Preview, Ball Durham predicted the Blue Devils would play in the Pinstripe Bowl.
