Next up for the Duke Basketball team is the Indiana Hoosiers and they must defend star freshman Romeo Langford to keep the Hoosiers down.

Romeo Langford was the first big time recruit Archie Miller has landed since he took over at Indiana.

According to the ESPN 100, Langford was the No. 5 player in the Class of 2018 and the top player in his position, state, and region.

In his four games at Indiana, Langford has averaged 18.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

His best games came against Arkansas and Marquette where he scored 22 points in both games, along with five rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and three steals against Marquette and 10 rebounds, five assist, and a block and a steal against Arkansas.

Langford shoots 52.0% from the floor, but he struggles from beyond the arc and at the free throw line, shooting 26.1% from three point range and only 65.9% from the charity stripe.

The Hoosiers come into this game at 4-1 on the young season with their only loss coming on the road against Arkansas.

Romeo Langford is the key of this team, but they do have other players that can hurt the Blue Devils if they are not careful.

Senior Juwan Morgan has been averaging 17.5 points per game along with 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

Morgan can hurt you from all over the floor as he’s shooting a scorching 71.7% from the floor and 60.0% from deep.

After posting his season high in points on November 20 against UT Arlington with 23 points, Morgan followed that up on November 23 against UC Davis with 31 points.

Justin Smith is also a player to watch out for when the Hoosiers take the floor at Cameron Indoor Stadium as he is averaging 10.2 points per game with 3.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists.

Smith has shot 57.5% from the field, and 25.0% from the three point line, which isn’t his game.

The Indiana Hoosiers will visit the Duke Blue Devils on Tuesday night at 9:30 pm ET and the game can be seen on ESPN.
