After the big time win on Tuesday night, the Duke Basketball team will face the Army Black Knights on Sunday afternoon.

The Army Black Knights will enter Cameron Indoor Stadium 1-0 after their win over the Marist Red Foxes.

West Point defeated Marist 73-69 behind the late heroics of Tommy Funk.

More from Ball Durham

Funk hit a three pointer with four seconds to play to ice the game for the Black Knights. Funk was excellent all night as he started and scored 15 points, dished out six assists, and pulled down two rebounds, while making four of his six shot attempts, two of three from three point range.

The other Army starters included Matt Wilson, Jacob Kessler, Jordan Fox, and Josh Caldwell.

Wilson led the way for the Black Knights as he scored 24 points, shooting a perfect eight for eight from the field and making eight of twelve free throw attempts. Wilson also grabbed six rebounds and one assist.

Fox also put forth a nice effort in the Black Knights victory scoring 14 points and grabbing three rebounds on five of eight shooting.

Kessler and Caldwell only combined to score six points, but Kessler had three rebounds and three steals while Caldwell made his presence known with six rebounds and four assists.

Army Head Coach Jimmy Allen played seven people off of his bench, four of those players receiving double digit minutes off the bench. Aaron Duhart was the leading scorer off the bench with six points in 14 minutes.

The Army Black Knights are not the most known team in college basketball, but very well respect throughout the sport, especially by Blue Devil Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski, and the Black Knights will play hard for a full 40 minutes.
