Duke Football travels down to Florida as both the Blue Devils and the Hurricanes look get to back on track after two straight losses.

The Miami Hurricanes had a promising outlook at the beginning of the season but a loss to LSU in Week 1 sidetracked them big time.

However, the ‘Canes responded by rattling off five wins in a row despite major quarterback issues between Mailk Rosier and N’Kosi Perry.

After a major comeback win against long time rival Florida State, Miami has lost two straight games on the road to Virginia and Boston College and now will look to bounce back against a Duke Blue Devil team that has also been struggling.

Despite many injuries on both sides of the ball, the Blue Devils started the season 4-0, but since starting quarterback Daniel Jones returned from his broken collarbone, Duke has faltered of late losing three of their last four games.

The those three losses, it was the offense that has stumbled but last week against Pittsburgh, the losing in heartbreaking fashion 54-45.

Things don’t get any easier for the Blue Devils as they have to face Miami from Hard Rock Stadium as the ‘Canes will most likely play much better at home, posting a 4-0 record this season in South Beach.

For the Blue Devils to pull this one out they will need to continue to stifle the Miami offense and quarterback Mailk Rosier.

The Duke offense will have to pick up where they left off last week with an effective running game paired with Jones’ ability to hit open receivers and take care of the football.

Turnovers will be one of the biggest keys in this game as if Miami is able to break out their signature ‘Turnover Chain’ the energy in the stadium is palpable and it turns the tide in the game towards the ‘Canes.

There’s no doubt that this will be a tough game for the Blue Devils to win and Miami will certainly play better in the comforts of their own home.

PREDICTION: Miami 31, Duke 23
