Duke Football: Halftime report as the Blue Devils face Georgia Tech
As Duke Football is back on the field, they have a battle on their hands with a road game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
The score of this game is a lot closer than it feels, which is a good thing for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
The Blue Devils are currently tied with the Yellow Jackets 7-7 at halftime.

Duke looked very determined on the first drive of the game as they marched 52 yards in four plays in one minute and seventeen seconds which ended in a 12 yards touchdown run by Deon Jackson.
Jackson has taken the ball eight times for 33 yards and the one touchdown.
The Duke defense has been the story of the game for Duke so far as they have limited the explosive triple option of Georgia Tech during the first half.
Georgia Tech was forced to punt three times and the Duke defense stopped them on both of their fourth down attempts.
The leader of the Yellow Jackets offense is TaQuon Marshall and he has been limited to 10 rushes for negative five yards and he has thrown the ball more in this game than any other, but he has completed three of his six pass attempts for 45 yards and a touchdown.
The deep and talented Georgia Tech runnings backs have been led by Clinton Lynch who has three carries for 24 yards.
As for the Blue Devils offense, Daniel Jones has completed ten of his seventeen pass attempts for 104 yards, a touchdown, and an interception, which led to the only score for Georgia Tech.
The key for the Blue Devils in the second half is going to be for their defense to continue to keep the pressure up on this Georgia Tech offense, but they have to be helped out by the offense who needs to win the time of possession battle in the second half.
Georgia Tech had the ball for 18:02 in the first half.
The score doesn’t reflect it, but Duke was the better team in the first half and the offense has to fine the rhythm that they had on that first drive and the Blue Devils will be in good shape in the second half.
As the first half was concluding Georgia Tech linebacker Victor Alexander was ejected from the game for throwing punches.
