Yet another celebrity is amazed at the level of excitement and ability of this years Duke Basketball team and he is very excited to see the team in game action this fall.

Twelve time All-Stars and three time NBA Champions just don’t go around handing out compliments, but Dwyane Wade is so excited to see the 2018-19 Duke Blue Devils on the court in fall.

After highlights surfaced around social media on Monday after the Blue Devils won all three of its Canadian Tour games last week, many celebrities took to social media to show how impressed they were with the young Blue Devils.

LeBron James liked multiple posts by the ESPN Instagram of Zion Williamson soaring through the air for some of his big time dunks.

Canadian rapper, Drake, posted a picture of him in Williamson’s high school jersey as the two, along with Canadian Basketball star and current Duke player R.J. Barrett, have become very close over the past few months.

Then on Monday morning, Wade took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Duke’s team.

The Blue Devils, led by Barrett’s 31 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game and Williamson’s 30 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists per game left an lasting impact on Wade and his son, Zaire Wade, who is a sixteen year old prospect who just picked up his first offer from Nebraska, the home state of Zarie’s mother and Dwyane’s wife, Gabrielle Union.

Wade knows that R.J. Barrett is a special type of player, one that can play at any position on the floor and Barrett responded to Wade’s tweet by saying “We gon put on a show”.

The Miami Heat icon left Barrett and the rest of the Blue Devils with two pieces of advice, and they are very good.

Wade and Coach K spent time together with USA Basketball as Wade was a player during the 2008 Olympics when Coach K led Team USA to a Gold Medal and only missed the 2012 Olympics due to a knee injury.

However, the two became close throughout that journey of USA Basketball where many other of Wade’s fellow NBA players became close with the best coach in college basketball and have spoken about Mike Krzyzewski’s knowledge of the game of basketball.

Dwyane Wade along with many people around the world cannot wait to see this Duke team on the floor in games that count this winter and hopefully into early spring.
