Duke Basketball: Blue Devils Set to Start Canadian Tour
The Duke Basketball team heads up to Canada today to get ready for its three game exhibition series to get the 2018-19 season underway.
We will (almost) get our first look at the 2018-19 Duke Blue Devils this week as the team will play three Canadian teams in exhibition games, however star freshman Tre Jones and Cam Reddish will not play in the games north of the border due to injury.
Reddish is trying to recover from a strained groin, while Jones is dealing with a hip injury. Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski said that both players are doing some basketball activities and are recovering nicely.

The Blue Devils will get the Canadian Tour started on August 15 against Ryerson University at 7:00pm ET at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
After a day off, the Blue Devils will remain in Toronto to face the University of Toronto on August 17 at 6:00 pm ET in the same arena.
The Duke Blue Devils will then travel to Montreal to face McGill University on August 19 in a matinee game at 3:00 pm ET at Place Bell in Quebec.
The headliner for the Blue Devils will be freshman forward R.J. Barrett who is from Mississauga, Canada, which is about a 30 minutes outside of Toronto and six hours from Montreal.
Barrett is the current star and future of Canadian Basketball and the arenas will be filled with family and friends trying to get a look at Barrett in a Duke Blue Devils basketball jersey for the first time.
The trip will be a learning experience more than anything for this young Duke Basketball team as they will learn how to gel and build chemistry in order to create the foundation for a very special 2018-19 season.
All three of the games that the Blue Devils will play in Canada will be broadcasted on the new ESPN streaming service, ESPN+, the service costs $4.99 per month, but fans can get a free seven day trial on ESPN+.
