Marquette

Next, we will go back to the Big East and say Duke should schedule Marquette in their nonconference schedule.

The main reason for picking Marquette is their Head Coach, Steve Wojojowski was a former Duke player and assistant coach.

More from Ball Durham

Under Wojo, Marquette has always put forth a hard-nosed, gritty team, taking the personality of their head coach.

If Duke were to schedule this game, it would most likely be on the road as Marquette is moving into their new arena this upcoming season.

Marquette has always shared an arena with the Milwaukee Bucks and that will continue.

The $524 million arena will most likely be the host of the Final Four in the near future, but there would be no better way to break in a new area like Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils coming into to town.
