After hosting their annual Countdown to Craziness event on Saturday Oct. 17, the Blue Devils will have a a pretty difficult schedule this season with a very young team adding 7 new players, including transfer Sean Obi who will be eligible to play this year. The team will have 14 games against NCAA Tournament participants from last year, including preseason ranked teams #2 North Carolina (twice), #3 Kentucky, #4 Virginia, #13 Utah, #14 Indiana, #16 Notre Dame, and a possible championship game rematch with #24 Wisconsin.
Duke is currently ranked 6th in the preseason by ESPN, and despite the youth they will have a very talented roster featuring one of the top freshman and a top-five ranked sophomore, in addition to bringing in the #1 overall freshman class.
