For those anxious to see how Seth Curry does in his NBA debut, I have a tiny bit of bad news for you: you’re probably going to have to wait a couple more days.
Curry, who is headed to the Memphis Grizzlies, will likely finalize/sign the contract tomorrow:
Seth Curry will not be playing tonight for the Grizz. The signing will be not be official as of today yet, per Grizzlies. #AN5

Hearing that Seth Curry signing won’t happen today. Deal likely tomorrow if it gets done. Curry is in town for a physical/workout

Yeah, that ‘if’ in the Ronald Tillery tweet will probably make you a bit uncomfortable, but that likely has to do with whether or not he passes a physical, which he should.
There was some hope that Curry would get the contract signed in time to play tonight against the Utah Jazz, but that isn’t going to be the case. If the deal is done, we will have to wait until Thursday, when the Grizzlies travel to Houston to play the Rockets, to see Curry make his debut.
