After getting out to one of the best starts of his career, Los Angeles Clippers guard JJ Redick will reportedly be out for awhile with injuries suffered during the Clippers 104-98 victory at Sacramento on November 29th:
Clippers guard J.J. Redick will miss 6-8 weeks with fracture in hand and torn UCL. Redick is averaging 15.8 PPG this season.

Through 17 games, Redick has posted an 18.5 PER and a 120 ORtg, both of which would be career highs. While part of this could be attributed to the elevated talent around him, specifically the presence of Chris Paul, a lot of it has been a result of Redick and the Clippers being a near perfect fit.
In Los Angeles, Redick has thrived in Doc Rivers’ offense, where he has essentially taken on the role Ray Allen had when Rivers was in Boston.
He has also been a somewhat valuable asset on defense, although his value there will be much easier for the Clippers to replace.
The Clippers are currently 12-5 and sit in 4th place in the Western Conference.
