Report: Seth Curry to Warriors

Several sites on the web have reported Seth Curry will be joining his brother’s team, the Golden State Warriors.

Golden Gate Sports, a fellow Fansided site,  has reported that the Duke graduate will sign a non-guaranteed contract today.  In a move that was likely designed to please star brother Stephen, the Warriors have taken a low risk, high reward gamble on the sweet shooting combo guard.

Seth has been prevented all summer from playing in the summer league games because he was recovering from shin surgery, an injury he famously dealt with all season for the Blue Devils.  Despite the injury, Curry shot his way to 1st team All ACC.

Curry will have the opportunity to join his brother as the Warriors have just one other point guard in Toney Douglas.  Kent Bazemore, a summer starlet, also made the Warriors and figures to be Curry’s stiffest competition for playing time.
