Heck, you thought Jones and Okafor would make for a historic package deal? According to Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog, apparently Justise Winslow wants to be apart of the madness.
Winslow on a possible three-way package deal:
“I mean, it’s something we talk about,” Winslow told SNY.tv of the potential package. “All three of us have to do what’s best for us, and if it just so happens that we all go to the same school, then that will be great.”
Okafor on the same possibility:
“That would be ideal if everybody’s situation to work out and we all end up at the same college, that would be perfect,” Okafor said. “But at the end of the day we have to do what’s best for each other.”
Wow. That’s all I can really say about this. In my eyes, I think it’s obvious that Duke is the favorite to land this trio. At the same time, it is a little hard to believe that these three will play at the same college.
Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor have said they will be a package deal for months. Justise Winslow is just now entering the picture. If this were to happen, we could see a magical 2014-15 season.
On a more negative note, Okafor said in the interview that he refutes the report that he and Tyus Jones are a lock for Duke. He said that he’s not committed yet, and that is just a rumor.
Well, what can I say. Do you guys think these three will be a package deal? Let me know in the comment section below.
