Watch Duke WR Conner Vernon in the Senior Bowl Today

Today, you can watch Duke WR Conner Vernon suit up for one last college game as he partakes in the annual Senior Bowl at 4pm (ET) on NFL Network.

Vernon has been creating positive buzz all throughout the full week of practice and has continued to solidify himself as a mid-round draft pick. Some opinions of Vernon’s performance:

NFL Draft Insider had this to say about Vernon –

#SeniorBowl#Duke WR ConnerVernon@Cvernon02 Smooth routes, great hands, good change of direction. This sleeper would be a solid pickup day 2 – @NFLDraftInsider

Finsider had an impressive opinion of Vernon as well –

Duke’s Conner Vernon, who played his high school ball at Gulliver Prep. He has every trait that Wes Welker possesses and didn’t drop any that pass that came his way this week.

It might be a bit premature to compare him to Wes Welker, arguably the best slot receiver on the planet in just about every aspect of his game, but you can certainly see the similarities. We’ve seen a couple negative reports on Vernon emerge, with CBS Sports’ Dave Richard stating that he doesn’t believe Vernon has many tools outside of solid hands. I don’t know if I agree with that, but it is worth noting that not everyon sees a bright future for the guy.

So, the game starts in two hours on NFL Network. Make sure to get over there. We’ll have a full report of Vernon’s performance up tonight. Good luck, Conner.
