It’s mid-season, Duke fans! You know what that means; time for some awards!
Which player has been the most improved? Which storyline excited you most? Which win was the most impressive? We have a lot to vote on, so let’s get to it.
Most Exciting Story
Duke has already made major headlines on numerous occasions so far. Whether it be the commitment of a major recruit, the destruction of a very strong field in a preseason tournament, or the national attention their star senior has seen, they’ve been no stranger to the front page of the sporting world. So, which story excited you the most?
Most Impressive Win
There are a lot of them! Which one was your favorite?
Most Improved Player
There really are only two players I’m considering for this spot. For the most part, everyone improves from year to year, but there are really only two guys who I feel have drastically improved enough to be included in this poll. Seth Curry, don’t take offense to not being included, you were already awesome in the first place. These guys became awesome.
Most Enjoyable Player To Watch
This is another tough one. Do you prefer the slick moves of Quinn Cook? The high-flying athleticism of Mason Plumlee? The fundamental and reliable play of Seth Curry? This is a tough one.
How Badly Do You Want to See Quinn Cook Do A Floor Slap?
Seriously, I’ve been waiting so long for this. This isn’t really a vote, more of just a reassurance that I’m not alone.
Most Valuable Player
There is no such thing as an award show without a most valuable player category. At the beginning of the year, Plumlee would win this vote by a mile, but Cook and Kelly and Curry have really been catching up to him as the season has gone on. That said, which player is the most essential to Duke’s success?
We will leave this open until next Friday. Let the voting begin!
