Duke QB Sean Renfree’s status for Saturday’s game against Clemson is still unknown, as the Senior is coming off of a weekend that saw him suffer from a high fever before sustaining a concussion after a hit from Florida State’s Karlos Williams.
Renfree returned to practice as early as yesterday morning, working exclusively with the first-team offense. While this is a promising development, there hasn’t been any official announcement on his status for the game. Head Coach David Cutcliffe stated that it isn’t up to him, whether or not Renfree plays, but that it will ultimately come down to what the team doctors say.
We’ll be keeping an eye on the Renfree situation all throughout the week, so make sure to check back often here at Ball Durham.
