Disappointing. Disappointing. Disappointing.

Short recap after the jump

  • Reggie Johnson was unstoppable in the paint for Miami. No one could match him all game as he beat down Duke’s “defense”. Did Duke even play defense yesterday? Didn’t seem like it. Instead, they flopped and flopped like the stereotypical Duke defense does.
  • Duke went on a run in the second half to make the game close and actually make Blue Devil fans cheer for something.
  • What really killed the Dukies in overtime was the free throw shooting. It was horrific. They missed all six of their free throw attempts. How embarrassing.
  • Very frustrating game to watch. Everyone knows the capability of the Duke players and how great they can be. But they were lost yesterday. Totally lost.
  • No inspiration. No toughness. No focus. That pretty much sums the game up.
  • Next game will be on Wednesday. The name of the team we are playing should not even be mentioned – it’s considered “vulgar language” on this blog. Tip-off will be at 9:00 PM EST on ESPN. Duke must win that game.
