Yeah, if I was a Carolina fan, I wouldn't be happy with the Wear twins, but I don't think this is a season killer. Remember, when Elliot Williams transferred last season, the future didn't look bright. We all know how that turned out.

It really all comes down to health. Those guys (Zeller, Henson) MUST, NEED to stay healthy.

Interesting. A rabbit trail led me here (actually I saw in my stats that someone came to my site through yours). A you can see by your related posts, it referenced a post I wrote about the train wreck in Carolina the year. All that to say, I am a HUGE Tar Heel Fan. We can put our differences aside long enough to say that I agree with everything you said in your post. I can't we're agreeing, but I do agree. Heels took a huge blow today with this announcement. It takes stones for the Wear brothers to leave what for most people is a dream opportunity. Something isn't right. If I really start to think about it, and the way the entire season went, I have to be honest and say something is REAL foul. The inmates ran the joint this season. You could see it. Something was not right and Roy, as great as he is, could not reach his team.

You take all of that and 2 very character guys bolt the program and something seems crazy. As a Tar Heel guy, I don't like it. I don't like that there is a question around "the family". No matter how good Barnes is, they are sunk unless they pull off some magic and quick.

The next few weeks will be interesting. Duke and Carolina are cyclical. As you pointed out, the worm has turned much quicker than anyone would have imagined.
